It is HOT in many parts of the country. So, what’s a fun way to beat the heat? We recommend combining the best parts of summer—ice cream and cold beverages—to make these boozy floats your mother (should have) warned you about.


 
Cold Brew Coffee Float
What could be better than rich, creamy ice cream and creamy nitro cold brew? (Hint: nothing)
  • 1 scoop salted caramel ice cream
  • 1 shot Irish whiskey
  • 6 oz nitro cold brew coffee 
*Pro Tip: drizzle a little chocolate on the inside of the glass to give it a cocoa kick.
 



Beer Float
The fruit and spice make everything nice.
  • 1 scoop Blackberry Ice Cream
  • 8 oz Hefeweizen beer 
*Pro Tip: be sure to get a true German-style hefe. American wheat beers don’t typically have the same banana and clove flavors from the yeast.
 



Cider Float
Light, refreshing, and beautiful to boot.
  • 1 scoop Sweet Cream Ice Cream
  • 8 oz Raspberry Hard Cider
*Pro Tip: sub vanilla bean ice cream if sweet cream is unavailable, and experiment with your favorite cider flavors.
